I was completely unsurprised that in the theatre where jackass: the movie (hereafter referred to as jackass) was shown, it reeked of weed. Maybe I'm getting old, maybe I'm a film snob, or maybe jackass is just stupid.

The movie is just like jackass the television show, which thank God I've never seen a complete episode of. But instead of only a half hour, the movie is 3 times as long, although it seems like much longer. Guys go out and do stupid things -- that's the movie. They sh*t in their pants, run around naked, strap stuff to their testicles -- it is classic low-brow entertainment. Sure, there are laughs, but to me, this movie was a waste of my time, and I am a little stupider now that I've seen it.

I don't want to insult anyone and say, "I'm too smart for this kind of entertainment." (*shudder*) So, I'll just say that humankind in general is too smart for this.

Rating Caveat

If you're a stoner skateboarder: 5 stars

If you're a blackjack dealing film major: 1/2 star
