Fiction Family- Fiction Family (Amazon)

Fiction Family is a brand new side project from Switchfoot front man, Jon Foreman and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek. The two musicians from San Diego have known each other casually since high school, and found themselves bumping into one another repeatedly at a local coffee shop near both of their homes. Over the past few years they have been writing and recording songs together around the schedule of their bands. Although their bands are stylistically very different (modern rock in the case of Switchfoot versus Nickel Creek's roots/bluegrass) Fiction Family is more than just a musical middle ground, it's an honest organic album from two musicians with no agenda, just a shared love of coffee and good songs.
