Survivor Gabon: The Good Things in Life Aren't Easy

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  December 9, 2008 @ 10:14pm

I don't have too much to say about this episode, other then I am in eager anticipation for the final two episodes! It was only a month ago I was detesting the season for its boring episodes and the endless losing streak of Fang, but its amazing what a merge and a few sleeping strategists can do!

Survivor Gabon: Nothing Tastes Better Than Five Hundred Dollars

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  November 30, 2008 @ 9:07pm

Sorry for the hiatus on last week's review, but having got wind that this week's episode was a simple recap episode I decided to take my sweet time and enjoy the holiday weekend.

Survivor Gabon: The Brains Behind Everything

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  November 17, 2008 @ 1:51pm

The Survivors left in Gabon have a lot of potential for some great television at this point. Finally the players are starting to lose their inhibitions and start viciously playing the game! Yes! Kenny is stepping into a power position by running the Fang underdogs around while the "Onion Alliance" struggles to keep its head above water.

Survivor Gabon: Apple in the Garden of Eden

Randy is king of Gabon! Survivors are tossing immunity idols into the ocean! Crystal knows my cousin? There were some outstanding parts in this episode that made for interesting Survivor moments, but I was left feeling a bit bitter towards the end when we saw who was voted out.

Survivor Gabon: It All Depends on the Pin-Up Girl

YES, a good episode. We finally get to see our first blindside and it comes from a most unexpected angle (at least in my opinion). Sugar pulls a fast one on Ace, showing him who's really in control of the game! I was pretty excited to see this, especially after so many predictable Tribals coming from the Fang tribe.

Survivor Gabon: This Camp is Cursed

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  October 20, 2008 @ 8:30pm

This Survivor episode had a little more substance then the episodes before it, but I'm afraid the cast-aways are still too afraid to pull the trigger and start really playing the game. Last week there were some mixed opinions about keeping Kelly around over Jacquie, someone who is strong.

Survivor Gabon: It was like Christmas Morning

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  October 13, 2008 @ 12:09pm

Gabon's game-play strategies are starting to grow at an exponential rate. Last episode we had a small glimpse into the alliances that were beginning to solidify, but combined with a surprise tribal switch-up the season is starting to gain some steam.

Survivor Gabon: She Obviously is Post-Op

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  October 3, 2008 @ 9:20pm

Tears, a little sass, and lot of fighting in the dirt; yeah, there were some good moments in this second episode of Survivor Gabon. Although the challenges had a few dramatic moments, (hanging onto a pole for dear life and gliding down an over-sized slip and slide) the drama involved in the social implications of the game are starting to develop beautifully.

Survivor Gabon: Want to See the Elephant Dung?

Posted by: Erik Reichenbach  •  September 28, 2008 @ 4:33pm

What the hell is 2008 Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst doing on top of a giant mountain? How did these random Doctors, Lawyers, Smash Brothers Champions, and Olympians appear out in the middle of a grassland in the African jungle? Is that Bill Nye the science guy trying to make fire? Welcome to Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden!
