Review: Monsters University

It is rare for a prequel to approach its subject without blatant reference to its predecessor. With Monsters University, I never got a sense that it was a forced story trying to expand or offer insights to moments that happened in Monsters Inc. Of course there were obvious things that had to be addressed in order to avoid plot holes.

Streaks. They are a funny thing. The longer they go on, the more interest they gain. When they are in progress, they almost seem endless or impossible to stop.

Up is the latest installment of Disney's long list of classic movies. The film is about an elderly man named Carl Fredricksen who, when he is forced to move out of his longtime home, decides to go on the adventure he and his late wife never got to go on.
