The Office: Double Date

Posted by: Lawrence Lee  •  November 6, 2009 @ 6:39pm

Whenever the combination of tension, and Michael Scott are present, there is almost always a disaster waiting to happen. At the beginning of Double Date, it looked as if it was going to be one of those rare times where Michael was going to prove everybody else wrong.

The Office: Cafe Disco

Posted by: Ariana  •  May 8, 2009 @ 2:43am

This week's opener is so, so stupid and yet so, so awesome: Erin the New Receptionist suddenly screams with joy at her desk and hollers, "OMG, I won an art contest!" Dwight starts chuckling maniacally and walks over to hand her some cash while Jim and Pam share weary looks. In an interview, Dwight laughs much more maniacally, and gleefully (and slightly demonically...

The Office: Casual Friday

Posted by: Ariana  •  May 1, 2009 @ 12:27am

Well, I don't really know what's going on in the opener here, because apparently the show started earlier than usual. YOU COULD TELL MY PVR THAT, GLOBAL TV. Honestly.

At any rate, Kevin appears to have spilled a large vat of chili all over the floor of the office and is now trying to scoop it up using his bare hands and scraps of paper.

The Office: Broke

Posted by: Ariana  •  April 24, 2009 @ 2:59am

It's 4:30 in the morning, and Michael tells us he's a 44-year-old guy with a paper route. The Michael Scott Paper Company has bought a rickety old van from the Korean Alleluia Church of Christ, maybe, and the three staff members are doing 5 a.m. deliveries themselves. Ryan can't handle the fresh morning air; it makes him sick ever since he got clean.

The Office: Heavy Competition

As Pam tells us, there is only so much cold-calling you do in a day, but no limit to the number of cheese puffs you can throw at another person's mouth. The staff of the Michael Scott Paper Company have gotten extremely proficient at the great sport of cheese puff throwing. They even pull off a three-way puff throw/catch.

The Office: The Michael Scott Paper Company

This episode is much funnier than the last one. Maybe that's why they had to have two in one night.

Michael screeches up in the street outside the business park, blaring Lady Gaga. As he pulls up to the camera, he turns down the music and tells us, "It's Britney, bitch.

The Office: Dream Team

Posted by: Ariana  •  April 10, 2009 @ 6:43pm

On this Very Special Night, which is now a Very Special Afternoon the Following Day, we are treated to not one, but two new episodes. And for some very unknown reason, Global aired them backwards. This is my reward for getting a week off, apparently.

The Office: Business Trip

Posted by: Ariana  •  November 14, 2008 @ 2:45am

Michael is being sent on an international business trip -- to Canada. Hey, you know what's in Canada? Showbiz Monkeys. Turns out he's going to Winter-- I mean Winnipeg. Hey! You know what's in Winnipeg? Showbiz Monkeys Headquarters. That's right.

The Office: Employee Transfer

Posted by: Ariana  •  October 31, 2008 @ 12:35am

Even though Halloween only lasts until the credits, I know you're dying to know what everyone dressed up as, so here you go:

Kelly is Carrie Bradshaw, blonde wig and all, and can't walk in her stilettos. Phyllis is Raggedy Ann. Stanley is wearing some giant Jabba the Hut/fish head the precise purpose of which is so that he can sleep at his desk.
