Golden Globe Nominations: Television

The nominees for the 65th annual Golden Globes were announced on Thursday in Hollywood. In television, there were a few surprises. NBC's The Office, an awards show favourite since its second season, wasn't even nominated this year for "Best Musical or Comedy" -- in fact, only one network sitcom (30 Rock) was included in the five nominees. Even the "Best Drama" category only includes two network shows out of its six nominees (Grey's Anatomy and House). Cable and pay TV have always done well come awards time, but they're outnumbering network television pretty strongly this year.
