So who's eliminated, on this, the last chance before the big stage?
1. Katelyn. Which is just great, because now I have to spend the rest of this season with these talentless hacks and not one of them is remotely relatable to me. Whatever. She was better than this the whole time.
2. Todrick, which is a shame because he is so gorgeous and interesting.
3. Alex Lambert. This is also a shame, for entirely different reasons.
4. Lilly Scott. MAN, WHAT GIRL AM I SUPPOSED TO ROOT FOR NOW? She's too good for this also.
Which means the Top 12, who will be singing songs by The Rolling Stones next week (which fills me with horror because those are songs that are not to be butchered), are:
This... was an unpredictable shakedown, to say the least, and the show did a great job of making it suspenseful. 10 points, Show. However, the results? They are lame.
Other "highlights" of the night include some awful lip-syncing by the kids to Michael Bublé, and Matt Giraud and Blind Scott from last season with a dueling-pianos Billy Joel number (which is actually pretty fun, and if you're wondering, Matt is still hot and Scott is singing much better when not under the pressure of competition).
I'll be back next week and we'll see if there's anything left of The Rolling Stones' songbook come Wednesday.
