30 Rock and John Adams pick up plenty of Emmys; Telecast itself a huge disappointment

The Emmy Awards have come and gone, and with the exception of a few surprises (Bryan Cranston stealing Best Actor in a Drama away from pretty much every other nominated actor), most of the favourites went home with the little golden statuette.

Bones: The Finger in the Nest

The episode opens with Booth and his son, Parker, playing ball in the park. Parker looks in a birds nest and finds somebody's finger! Gross. He wanted to put it in his pocket and take it home... even grosser.

At the lab, we meet Mr. Starret, Brennen's oldest grad student, and the newest "Zack's replacement".

    Tonight's trouble begins when the drama teacher has to leave due to a family emergency and Tabitha randomly offers to step in as director of the musical. Throughout the rest of episode, Tabitha shows off her "directing savvy" as she yells at Annie for her terrible singing.
