Synopsis

The internationally-acclaimed director Lukas Moodysson, presents a globe-spanning, modern family drama in MAMMOTH. Gael García Bernal and Michelle Williams star in a story of about the rippling effects of life’s smallest choices, and the epic ironies that bind us all together.

MAMMOTH follows a young New York family that has stumbled into a world of money and big decisions. Leo (Gael García Bernal), the creator of a booming website, and Ellen (Michelle Williams), a dedicated emergency surgeon live the perfect life with their 8-year old daughter Jackie (Sophie Nyweide). But when Leo travels to Thailand on business, and Ellen begins to see her daughter less and less after her long hours at work, a chain of events is sparked that will have dramatic consequences for everyone.
