Synopsis

After being dumped by her boyfriend, Donna Stern (Jenny Slate) is depressed. She gets sympathy from her parents and supportive best friend Nellie (Gaby Hoffman), but it isn't until she meets Max (Jake Lacy), that things take a turn for Donna.

Even though he's not her type, she sleeps with him. Not long after, she realizes she's pregnant and doesn't know how to approach him with the news. Deciding she isn't ready to be a mother, she opts for abortion, but things get confusing when Max turns out to be a pretty good guy and takes her out for the best Valentine's Day of her life.
