Prom episodes historically have provided television with some of its most memorable moments. Who can forget Donna Martin getting drunk and almost expelled from West Beverly High or Carlton Banks' manic "Carlton Dance on Speed", literally.
Traditionally someone loses their virginity or gets busted for an illegal substance at Prom.
It's a big week at McKinley. There's only a few weeks left of school and there's so much to do! Naturally Glee packs a ton into this week's heavy episode with a few surprised up its sleeve. Where to begin?

It's showtime! NYADA auditions are this week which has Kurt and Rachel stressed out.
After last week's awkward Saturday Night Fever tribute episode, Glee returns with yet another homage, this time paying tribute to the late great Whitney Houston.
Much like my previous piece, 'They Shoot Simpsons, Don't They?', I must also preface this manifesto by admitting that throughout my life I have spent countless hours watching Fox TV and have genuinely enjoyed some of their fine programming. God forbid I come across like a 'hater'.
Tribute episodes can be fun, and this one certainly is. But often the tribute is forced upon the episode so much the word "contrivance" doesn't even begin to explain the awkwardness. Saturday Night Fever? Awesome album.
Well, Glee is finally back after its usual spring hiatus and we've got quite a few things to catch up on since that last cliff-hanger episode.
As it turns out, Finn did not make an honest woman out of Rachel.
Oh we have some heavy stuff here this week. This episode marks the end season three's second act where Glee will take its usual hiatus for a few weeks. Let's get right into it:
It's Regionals and the guns are firing on all cylinders.
This week's Glee Club assignment is "The World's Greatest Love Songs", which is a pretty broad assignment, if you ask me. But it does provide the show with some nice expressions of affection through song.
There's an open tenure position at McKinley and competition is stiff. Sue wants it, but has to decide between career and having a baby! Will wants it, but has to somehow improve his Spanish classes.
Introducing Senior David Martinez: Spanish teacher by night, sexy and he knows it by day.
It's amazing that Glee hasn't had a tribute show to Michael Jackson yet, but here it is in all its glory: and as expected it's both awkward and magnificent.
