EIFF Review: Pure

I couldn't really get into this story about a young woman struggling with the decision to either stay forever young as a party girl down the path of destruction or grow up, move in with a nice fella, and be a banker or whatever it is that you do when you mature.

Normally this would be a fine little story â€" nothing original mind you, but a story would be there. What dragged me down was the constant waxing poetic that this woman does.

Am I watching a show immersed in dance club drug culture or Masterpiece Theatre? Bah! I'll take Go over this any damn day of the stinkin' week.
