EIFF Review: F*ck

F*ck is a pretty in-depth and comprehensive study of the word, its uses, and its origins, and makes use of all the interview materials available of those who have something to say on the matter. The documentarians talked with celebrities, pundits, politicians, newsmen, porn stars, and comedians as they made the rounds of the historical analysis and free speech debate. As insightful and humourous as it started off being, it downgraded at about the halfway point to just being a categorical synopsis of how the 'F' word is used in different situations and contexts, in media, sports, and what have you. Still interesting, but not quite the most effective technique for a documentary in my book.

One of these days I'm gonna let you guys read my book, F*ck. One of these days I'm gonna have to write that f*ckin' book.
