The Liam Neeson we've all come to know after his Oscar-nominated turn as Oskar Schindler is gone, perhaps for good. In his place, we find a grizzled wannabe action star playing a lifeless character. No, this isn't a review of Taken. This is a review of The Grey, a cold as ice (tee hee hee) action drama from Narc director Joe Carnahan.

What happens when you take two aging Irish actors and send them out into the Old West to kill each other? Well Seraphim Falls, that's what.

Seraphim Falls stars Pierce Brosnan as Gideon, a man fleeing for his life across snow-capped mountains, vast deserts, and hilly terrain. In hot pursuit is his would-be killer, Carver (Liam Neeson) and his posse of men.
