For this, the stupid finale to end a stupid season, each girl will dance with each guy once. No group dances, no same-sex dances, no solos. However... nine dances in an hour. Brace yourselves.
As we are rushing through these nine dances, with nary a second for Cat to catch her breath, there will be no rehearsal footage.
I don't know about you, but I've been watching the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers over and over this week. But now we gotta talk about these kids.
Oh wow, I just realized that they've added Mary's "woohoooooo" to the opening credit sequence.

Well, it's all up to you now, America. Don't screw the pooch.
Oh no, I'm actually squealing "jidges" along with the audience now. This show, it has overtaken my brain.
Top 10 Performances
We've got two performances from each of the six remaining couples tonight, so belt in for a wild ride. Or at least less talking from the judges, if we're lucky. (They wouldn't shorten the routines to a minute just so they could talk more, would they? ...Don't answer that.)
This is also the last week that the original couples will all be performing together.
I'm so sorry this is many days late, but nonetheless Cat seems especially sassy and giddy to open the performance show, so let's dig in, shall we?

They seem to have cleaned up the camera work on the opening 8-counts enough that it doesn't look quite so awkward when they run out and interrupt each other, although the
It almost feels like the real show this week, doesn't it? If it weren't for the stupid giant stage, anyway...
So, Top 16 week. This could get long, so I hope you've got the patience to read through it all, because I'm hilarious, you know, so it's worth it.

The opening 8-counts are so dismal on this giant new stage. Each dancer has to awkwardly sprint to centre stage during the preceding dancer's 8-count, and then race off following their own. It's... unbecoming.
Still, Cat is as becoming as ever, so I guess we can all be happy.
It's all over. Did you watch it?
If not, click to drop below the jump and find out whether things ended as predictably as I predicted they would, or whether one of our Calgary Flames pulled out an upset (because you all know Natalli's not winning this thing).
And the winner is... Nico. Shocked. I'm simply shocked.
Welcome to your first interactive So You Think You Can Dance Canada discussion post! Each week following the results show on Thursday, I'll post a brief rundown of what went down that week and how I feel about it (which I know you're just dying to hear), and then we here at Showbiz Monkeys want to hear what you have to say.
For diehard fans of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, Italian singer/songwriter Elisa is nothing new – the title track of her North American release, Dancing, was featured prominently on the third season's Top 20 episode in a Mia Michaels-choreographed piece.
