Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Expectations

Posted by: Paul Little  //  April 9, 2010 @ 4:30am

I'm coming off a bit of a cold/flu thingy, and now we're right in the heart of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, so my apologies if this is a little short this week. There's lots of great comedy to check out (and later write about) -- but I want to get this up tonight for you party people, so here goes!

Tonight's episode of Survivor: Heroes vs.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - I'm Not a Good Villain

Posted by: Paul Little  //  April 3, 2010 @ 3:43am

Well, there's one thing for certain after this week's episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains: viewers either loved this episode or hated it. When two alpha players the likes of Boston Rob and Russell end up on opposite alliances, it's going to result in a messy confrontation, and that makes for entertaining but polarizing television.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Banana Etiquette

Posted by: Paul Little  //  March 25, 2010 @ 1:33am

After a week off due to March Madness, we had our annual special Wednesday episode of Survivor, and what a spectacular episode it was! There was individual immunity, team reward, both teams going to Tribal Council, an immunity idol in play, and a questioning of a Survivor legend's legacy.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Knights of the Round Table

Posted by: Paul Little  //  March 12, 2010 @ 8:56am

Despite a reward challenge where James almost had to leave the game because of a mysterious leg injury, things were pretty much the same in Survivor-land. The Heroes proved to be pretty much anything but heroic once again, and the Villains were once again working as a tight unit -- at least during the challenges, that is. Oh, and Russell "knighted" Coach.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Tonight, We Make Our Move

Posted by: Paul Little  //  March 5, 2010 @ 3:58am

This one is a little more recap than review. I'm in Los Angeles right now putting together some Oscar reports and coverage for ShowbizMonkeys.com, so I'm not able to go through my summary notes on tonight's Survivor episode and come up with more of a review.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - That Girl is Like a Virus

Posted by: Paul Little  //  February 27, 2010 @ 12:33am

After last week's theatrics on the Heroes tribe, the previews for this week's episode looked like things were going to continue to be chaotic for the "good guys". There were shots of James getting crazy at a challenge, and it looked like he was headed well past going off the deep end, and on his way to the bottom of the ocean.

American Idol Season 9: Top 24, Girls Night

Posted by: Ariana  //  February 24, 2010 @ 1:47am

You know, I was going to just do one post a week, but it turns out I have so much to say that it's easier to break it up into a post each night. I figured rather than edit the life out of my recap, which would take more time than all of this is worth, I'd just post it here for your enjoyment, in all its 1,600-word glory. Here we go...

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - It's Getting the Best of Me

Posted by: Paul Little  //  February 19, 2010 @ 3:41am

Things are getting crazy on the island, and we're only a few days in! Just like Survivor: All-Stars, there is a lot of turmoil early on. But unlike that show, it doesn't seem to be personalities clashing based on previous relationships. This seems to be more a case of people who have played the game before thinking they know better than anyone how to play the game.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Slay Everyone, Trust No One (season premiere)

Posted by: Paul Little  //  February 12, 2010 @ 12:20am

Ten years ago, a little show called Survivor debuted as summer filler on CBS. Called a "reality show", it was a kind of hybrid mix of a game show and documentary, with a bit of Gilligan's Island thrown in.

The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love - Episode 6

Posted by: Ramya Velmurugiah  //  February 9, 2010 @ 11:49am

Mother's intuition, dead grandma house tours, uncomfortable dance routines and alligators...yup, it's the hometown date episode.

We start by heading off to the east coast to join Gia and her family for the first hometown date. Jake greets Gia with running scoop hug #1.
