Jimmy Fallon to take over Late Night after Conan's departure in 2009

After months of speculation, including "confirmed" reports from insiders at the end of April, NBC announced on Monday that former Saturday Night Live castmember Jimmy Fallon will be taking over Late Night following the departure of Conan O'Brien to The Tonight Show.

Filter release first new album in 6 years, Anthems for the Damned

It's been 6 years since fans last saw an album from the band Filter.
After releasing The Amalgamut in 2002, front man Richard Patrick started working on a 4th album. During this time, Patrick invited Dean and Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) to help out on the album.

This is the highly anticipated sixth studio album for the Seattle based indie rockers.
Dave Grohl has been a fan of Metallica since day one and recently wrote an open letter to the band about their 9th studio album they've been working on (with producer Rick Rubin):

Michael is going to a job fair – at a high school – to find some interns. They let high school students intern now? Oscar, Pam and Darryl are coming with, and Darryl's put on a tie for the occasion (Kelly: "Oh. My. God. Everybody, I'm dating Barack Obama!", so that's still going on), while Michael has put on jeans and sneakers.
