Fringe: One Night in October

It may only be the second episode of the season, but I'm saying this week's episode of Fringe might be the best of the year already. Even down a series regular (for story reasons of course; long live Peter!) the show has never been better.

Fringe: Immortality

When the red credits role you know Fringe has something new in their bag of sci-fi tricks in story for the viewers at home. With the story being back in the alternate universe for the first time since the Olivia switch in "Entrada", this episode goes in an interesting direction for Fauxlivia starting to relive her old life.

After leaving audiences on the edges of their seats for over two weeks Fringe returns to follow up on the phenomenal cliff-hanger ending from "The Abducted". Though the last episode set the bar pretty high this week's episode, "Entrada", did not disappoint.

When I tell people that Fringe is one of the best shows -- if not the best show -- on TV right now, it is because of episodes like this one. An episode that can stand alone by itself, as great hour of television, and also continue to advance the series with fresh angles at the same time.
