Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld are the writers, actors, and editors behind the award-winning webseries Jake & Amir, which began while the pair were writers at College Humor. Besides its immense popularity online, their series also appeared on television on MTV's The CollegeHumor Show. In 2013, they started an advice podcast called If I Were You, and over the years, they have done special live recordings of the podcast around the U.S.
Now they're bringing the podcast north of the border to Canada, with live recordings in Winnipeg, Calgary, and Vancouver. In advance of these shows, I spoke to the comedy duo about the questions they choose to give advice on, where new segments developed from, if their current Vimeo series Lonely and Horny, and what audiences should expect going to a live recording of If I Were You.
If you're in Winnipeg, Calgary, or Vancouver, be sure to check out Jake & Amir live! Ticket info is available at hahaha.com/jakeandamir.

With no discernible format besides a good conversation, we do get to check in with some really awesome folks, including some of the industry's top comedians, musicians, actors, and filmmakers.
Usually hosted by either Managing Editor Paul Little or stand-up comic Andrew Lizotte, other contributors to Kinda Sorta Maybe have included Matthew Ardill, J.D. Renaud, and Mark McLeod.
