For many of a certain age, the Muppets are a fixture of our youth. The Muppet Show was a show we watched with our parents where we heard jokes that we both laughed at, their movies taught us about friendship, and they were a part of pop culture from top to bottom.
When you think of the apocalypse -- filled with hell-bent creatures with a thirst for carnage, cannibals, and savages -- a Seth Rogen movie is the last thing you would conjure up in your mind. This is the End is to a Roland Emmerich movie what Shaun of the Dead is to a George A. Romero movie.
Take This Waltz is most successful if viewed as an accurate (yet flawed) character study of a depressed girl in the ass-end of her 20's. I think the word girl could even be replaced with person. Men go through similar phases in their lives but, writer/ director Sarah Polley concentrates only on Margot (Michelle Williams).
