I am a Generation One Transformers child. I grew up riding my BMX to the store using my paper route money and allowance to buy Transformers action figures (this is back when child labour was only semi-frowned upon and letting kids go door to door at 5 AM multiple days a week was okay).

Call them summer blockbusters, call them popcorn flicks, or just call them eye candy. They are films where you check your exceptions for any reminiscence of a story at the theater door, turn your brain off for 2 hours, just sit back and enjoy the eye popping images.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen takes place 2 years after Transformers. The Autobots are secretly working with the Government to destroy the last remaining Decepticons. But the Decepticons regroup, bring Megatron back to life and deal a HUGE blow to the Autobots.
