TCM watch: At eight tonight, Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes ( a young Englishwoman tries to prove that an elderly governess was actually on a train.) I recommend it very highly. It is one of my favorite Hitchcock films. And tomorrow morning at seven, The Beast of the City ( a police chief fighting crime and corruption is betrayed by his brother who falls for a gun moll.)
