Oscar Coverage: Predictions for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards

With expectations of sunshine and celebrities, the ShowbizMonkeys.com team descended from their respective northern perches to cover the 83rd Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, California. Upon their arrival at the Kodak Theater, rain showers dampened the colorful hubbub -- workers hustled to assemble a protective canopy over the red carpet; miles of plastic wrap covered the carpet and elephantine statuettes spaced at regular intervals along the sidelines. Despite the ashen sky and mummified décor, the team persevered.

Even if the weather proves foul, this year's ceremony promises to be anything but. With several exceptional nominees, the competition is indisputably fierce. Of course, the winners will not be revealed until the famous sealed envelopes are broken this Sunday, but we would like to offer our 2010 Oscar predictions from the famed Red Carpet along Hollywood Blvd. Enjoy the video and let us know what your predictions are for the this year's Academy Awards.
