Synopsis

Documentary about people whose lives have been turned upside-down by the war on terror, including a 19-year-old German born Turk, who spent five years being tortured in Guantanamo Bay; a Navy lawyer who had to betray his country to do right by the detainees; a retired colonel framed by the US administration for a legal memo on torture and an Arab linguist turned interrogator still haunted by his torture of detainees and the evil he discovered within himself.
