Synopsis

A seemingly ordinary teen, Clary Fray, lives in New York City with her mother. The girl witnesses a murder at a club called Pandemonium and shortly after, her mother taken from their home.

Clary learns that she comes from a long line of Shadowhunters, a secret group of young half-angel warriors who strive to protect our world from demons.

She joins a group who introduce her to an alternate New York called Downworld, filled with deadly creatures.

Based on the young adult novel by Cassandra Clare.
