Synopsis

The life story of Jesus (Diogo Morgado), from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. As he travels to tell the word of God and performs miracles, he becomes beloved by thousands of followers, which earns him the attention of detractors who fear that he has too much power with the people.

When he admits he is the Son of God, Jesus is charged with blasphemy and betrayed by one of his disciples.
