Synopsis

A high-handed, retired businesswoman named Harriett (Shirley MacLaine) decides to write her own obituary to make sure her life story is told on her own terms. A young journalist at a local newspaper decides to investigate the truth behind Harriett's story, which results in an unexpected and life-changing friendship.
