Pioneer National Film Board animator Grant Munro, now living in Montreal in his 80s, has been described as a combination of Buster Keaton, Chuck Jones, Joan Miro, Gene Kelly, and Felix the Cat. He has contributed to the world of cinema for over 50 years – including collaborating with the legendary Norman McClaren on the Academy Award-winning pixilated masterpiece Neighbors. Animator, actor, dancer, cinematographer, editor, and documentarian, there is no one like Grant Munro. The NFB and Cinematheque present a rare talk by this animation genius including a screening of some of his best work.
