Tonight's pick: The Mentalist (10pm, CBS)

The best Thursday shows are still on repeats, but The Mentalist is still a very fun and interesting show, as far as procedurals go. This week, the case-of-the-week sees the CBI looking into the world of MMA fighting (I think this is the last procedural to tackle ultimate fighting), however seeing Patrick Jane deal with muscle-bound fighting machines should be pretty fun. Meanwhile, the investigation into the fiery murder of one of Red John's operatives while in CBI custody, which is focused on Jane, continues to heat up.
