Paul Little

Paul co-founded CanadaMovies.net in 2001. One of the biggest reasons for the re-branding of the website as ShowbizMonkeys.com was that Paul doesn't just love movies -- with his passion for music and love of television, the expanded coverage just made sense.

While he doesn't watch as much television as he used to, he still indulges in a likely unhealthy amount of late night television, an obsession which started with Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 1993, and moved onto The Daily Show and the various political comedy shows that have sprouted from there over the years. He also has a lifelong love for music, with a soft spot for lesser-known and independent artists not frequently found in the mainstream. Paul has also been called a "comedy geek" by people within the industry, and has watched more live and recorded stand-up comedy than most would feel comfortable admitting.

When not interviewing his idols, covering major events, or working on design and coding for ShowbizMonkeys.com, Paul also runs and promotes music and comedy events through The Purple Room, produces the live comedy game shows Pants on Fire and The Great Patio Showdown, and occasionally takes the stage himself as a folk singer/songwriter or improviser. He works a "day job" as a web developer for a university.
