• the l word [fifth season finale] on SHOWTIME

• ax men on HISTORY

TCM watch: Joan Crawford has been the star of the month, so her movies have been featured more than usual, but TCM is going all out for the next twenty-four hours. There will be a documentary at eight tonight, followed by all JC until primetime tomorrow night. Some pretty obscure titles will be on, not all of them greats, by any means, but even the two-star rated ones still sound like pretty good yarns and not a bad way to pass an hour and a half. I'm particularly looking forward to Dancing Lady at 4:45 am. If you're looking for something a bit more highbrow, Grand Hotel will be on right before it at 2:30 am.
