It's official. The 51st Winnipeg Folk Festival is entirely sold out! We're talking single day tickets, full weekend passes, and every camping option available for the fest's 2026 edition running July 9–12. Yowza! I don't have official statistics yet to confirm the following statement, but I think this might be a new record.

Two Crows for Comfort are a Manitoba folk duo (with roots and country leanings) who spend a good chunk of their year touring around North America with their dog in tow. The incredible harmonies and storytelling from this real-life couple are up there with some of the best duos making their style of music anywhere on the planet.
I will admit, I am not unbiased in this review. The Cure have been an active part of my life since I found them in high school, and based on the software big companies are trying to convince me I'm enjoying and is TOTALLY not spying on me, if you combine the time I've spent listening to them over the year it totals around a month of my time.

Well, folk friends... we did it! We feasted and frolicked, celebrating Winnipeg Folk Festival's 50th festival! Word on the street is that this edition ranked high on many people's lists of favourite festival years.
I certainly wasn't disappointed.
Finally, another Winnipeg Folk Festival is nigh! This is no ordinary year, though... it's the 50th anniversary!! This prairie celebration of music, art, and community has been bringing joy for half a century, my friends.
The 2025 edition of the Winnipeg Folk Festival will take place July 10–13, in Manitoba's Birds Hill Provincial Park.

The Stanley County Cut-ups were everywhere at the 2024 Winnipeg Folk Festival. Besides their own concert, they were in several workshops throughout the weekend.

The 49th annual Winnipeg Folk Festival has come and gone -- hopefully so have all the sunburns and dehydration! The memories, though, I want to keep close.
July 11–14 was a sweltering four days with several thunderstorms.
The 2024 Winnipeg Folk Festival is upon us! The beloved fest's 49th edition will see thousands setting up their hammocks and tarps in Birds Hill Provincial Park, just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on July 11–14.
After an abnormally chilly fest last year, it looks like the sizzling weather familiar to any seasoned folkie is back with a vengeance.
It's once again the best time of year, when thousands of people slap on sunscreen and set up low-sitting chairs to take in four days of music and community in Manitoba's Birds Hill Provincial Park, just outside of Winnipeg.
