Review: Escape Plan

It must have seemed enough just to have both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger on the poster. For many film goers, these two kings of 1980's action cinema would be more than enough reason to buy a ticket for Escape Plan. And I think fans of films like Cobra and The Running Man will like what they see.

Alcatraz: Webb Porter

Being the second last episode of the year Alcatraz starts putting their season finale in motion. Well slow motion really. Alcatraz gets a jazz club, an inmate kills for human hair, and Hauser may have found a cure for Lucy the extent of the excitement.

In "Webb Porter" most of the episode's story follows Lucy treating an inmate in 1960.

It was bound to happen sooner or later but seven episodes in Alcatraz delivers its first 'meh' episode. If television had a scale for good and bad entertainment this week's episode "Johnny McKee" would remain horizontal the whole way through.

Jim Parrack has had a rocky character history on TV so far this past year. First his vampire girlfriend dumps him before sleeping with his best friend on True Blood. Now he loses his life and his family from 1963 after being included as one of the 46 prison guards that disappeared on Alcatraz.
