"Yet mom's hardly in the story."
So how did you feel about the way How I Met Your Mother concluded? After nine long seasons, we finally got our answer. Was it worth the wait? Consider how the show went on for too long, and how it seemed like the latter seasons really dragged its foot on the reveal.
"Aren't you tired of waiting for destiny, Ted?" Isn't it time to make your own destiny?"
The seventh season of How I Met Your Mother concluded with the two-parter, "The Magician's Code." By now, the show should really have provided an answer to how Ted met the mother of his children, but alas, it has not.
Alan Thicke has been enjoying a career resurgence over the last few years, appearing as a womanizing failed actor on CBC's jPod, making appearances as a version of himself on How I Met Your Mother, and popping up in roles in comedy films such as The Goods. He's even in the process of filming a new pilot for Showtime.
This past week's How I Met Your Mother, or HIMYM to many fans, was somewhat typical fare for the program.
The new fall television season is upon us! I know I'm not the only one who's excited. While cable has come on strong over the last few years with some exceptional series, and the internet takes more and more of our time each and everywhere, there still isn't quite anything like network television.
TV on DVD Releases:
How I Met Your Mother's newest instalment aired Monday night, and was satisfying, albeit in a different manner than usual. This week's How I Met Your Mother episode was the second consecutive agreeable instalment, and was hopefully a positive sign of where the relationship between Barney and Robin is headed, contrary to my former trepidation.
How I Met Your Mother returned with force.
This week's How I Met Your Mother was one of the series' rare missteps. Robin and Barney's relationship is becoming increasingly emasculating for Barney, as he is becoming nauseatingly sweet and doting towards Robin, detracting from his usual obnoxious and chauvinistic hilarity.
