It was as if my plea were answered. The Big Bang Theory had an episode that once again expertly integrated all of the characters in a manner which was fluid and compatible. The Wolowitz and Koonthrappali portion of the plot was typical yet engaging in its pertaining to the two undersexed physicists' quest to conquer the realm of sexuality using any means necessary. This time, the boys decided to dress as members of the Goth scene and attend a corresponding nightclub, in which their disguises were temporarily able to fool a pair of piqued young Gothic women. Eventually, their pretence was discovered, as they were both too dainty to allow themselves to be tattooed, which caused them to illustratively contrive a wildly fictional account of the events of the evening for the purpose of recounting.
Leonard, Penny and Sheldon meanwhile, were involved in a circumstance which had Sheldon attempting to condition Penny's behaviour using chocolates as reinforcement. What was particularly effective and hilarious was the degree of success Sheldon had, causing Penny's behaviour to change drastically in his presence, from her tone and pitch of voice to the amount which she spoke. The figurative icing on the cake came at the end of the episode, as Penny actually caught a tossed chocolate directly in her mouth. The constant experimenting and tampering with her brain made for an exquisitely impish and diabolical Sheldon experience that I fully relished.
Tune in again next week when Raj faces deportation and Wolowitz plays third wheel with Leonard and Penny.

When Wolowitz opened the door and dramatically entered the apartment in full goth apparel, I just about died laughing. SO awesome!

The tattoo sleeves are really what did it for me. They're such impostors.

I can't get behind this show. I recorded an episode with my PVR because it seems like something I'd like, but I didn't even crack a smile. The characters seem, to me, very basic and they overplay the geek cliche.
Maybe I just caught a bad episode?
