Television
Dexter went primal this week and absolutely delivered. It's an electrifying episode effectively broken up with compelling moments of reflection between the characters.
The title of any television show's episode is supposed to normally sum up the theme for that episode. In this week's episode of Smallville entitled "Abandoned" it does just that, while also summing up the efforts that went into this episode.
COURAGE
"If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make the change." - Michael Jackson.
After being bullied at school by Karfosky, Kurt gets advised by a new friend Blaine to stand up for himself.
When over a dozen people start losing their memories after listening to their ham radios, broadcasting a sequence of strange numbers, it's time to call in the Bishops.
It had come to the attention of the employees that the police were on the verge of finally apprehending the elusive Scranton Strangler. Whereas the whole office, including Michael, were interested in watching the broadcast, Gabe was in disagreement with how work time was being spent.
This week on the Dean Winchester show, nothing is as it seems when Dean realizes the ones he is closest to aren't always the ones he can trust.
Following the vicious beating Dean gave his brother at the end of last week's episode, Sam wakes up tied to a chair with Castiel trying to diagnose his condition.
Nothing says an American Thanksgiving quite like your sister and your four star general father walking in on you and your alien boyfriend about to do the horizontal boogie. Or is it football and turkey? I can never remember. But in Smallville it's just your typical holiday for Lois Lane.
Dexter: "Sometimes partners find us, and as much as we try to push them away, they work their way into our lives, regardless - until we finally realize how much we need them."
If there is one life lesson I learned this week, it is that motivational speakers are shady people.
When Stefan and Damon discover Elena has been abducted, the two decide to mount a daring rescue unaware that with a new enemy lying in wait, Elena's life is not the only one at stake.
Immediately following the events of last week's episode, Elena is abducted and taken to an abandoned house by the vampires Rose and Trevor.
If X-Men's Bobby Drake and Smallville's Jimmy Olsen were to have a scene together what would it look like? No, not so much a comic book crossover but maybe more like an Ashmore family reunion in this case.
