Hi everybody! So... whoops? I'm a day late in posting this week's talk show guests. I guess I'm still so excited about that Kevin Pollak interview posted last week that I've completely lost track of what day of the week it is.
Another week in talk shows, another week of the same ol' listings, right? Wrong! I've made two posts today that might be of interest to fans of late night television, talk shows, and this weekly post.
A little over a week ago, myself and 30 Rock recapper Jeff Anseeuw got the opportunity to see live tapings of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (on Monday, October 26th) and The L
My apologies for skipping last week's late night listings. In my defense, I was preparing for a 2-week trip down to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Plus, last week was mostly repeats, anyway, so I'm sure you didn't miss things too much!
However, THIS week is an exciting week in late night television! Why? Because yours truly will be attending 2 tapings LIVE in L.A.
Sorry things are a little bit late today. It's Thanksgiving Monday up here in Canada, and the day was filled with (Canadian) football and pumpkin pie! Those on the West Coast will still be able to use Monday's listings, and my apologies to those everywhere else.
Well it was a crazy week in the world of late night television! Conan O'Brien came back on Monday from his head injury, and showed everyone the cringe-inducing accident from Friday's Tonight Show taping.
First and foremost, we've set up a domain name for you to more simply get to the late night listings every week: LateNightGuests.com.
First of all, I hope you all checked out Kevin Pollak's Chat Show last night (or at least the embedded Rob Corddry interview in last week's listings). If you haven't yet, you're seriously missing out on some funny an interesting conversation.
Last week was also, of course, the first week of the new Jay Leno Show.
This week marks the debut of the "primetime talk show", when NBC brings us The Jay Leno Show at 10/9c every week day. The former Tonight Show host will be competing with the CSIs of the world for ratings, as well as keeping 5 hours of potential scripted television off the air.
Sorry for taking a few weeks off there. A combination of being out of town, and a week of all repeats, kept me from posting.
