After a strong opening premiere night last week Alcatraz returns with a little less excitement for it's third episode. That's not to say this week's episode didn't have its fair share of mystery.
Its an expression used when those at war with each other yet share a common threat. Setting aside their differences or conflict and joining together to stop a mutual adversary.
Love is in the air at McKinley and in more ways than one: Becky is setting her sights on Artie, Sam and Mercedes are relieving their 'Summer Nights", Beiste and Cooter apparently eloped, Will is trying to propose to Emma and Fichel's relationship is about to take a major step forward.
For weeks we have known that the fourth coffin of Klaus's family could not be opened but Bonnie may have discovered that its secrets may be tied to her dreams and past.
After yet another dream, Bonnie realizes the key to opening the fourth coffin of Klaus's family is her mother.

Ah, awards season. It's a great time in Hollywood. With so many awards these days being handed out to doctors, scientists, and educators, it's about damn time they honour millionaire movie stars! But seriously, for movie fans like me, it's a chance to see some great films.

With only a couple weeks left in the five-season run of the NBC action spy comedy Chuck, the mood amongst the cast and fans is mixed. Certainly, if you work on the show or just enjoy watching it, a TV series ending is never the most pleasant of times.
No time is wasted between cases as the newly formed unorthodox task force has another deadly Alcatraz inmate reappear.
"On March 21st 1963 Alcatraz was officially closed due to rising costs and decrepit facilities. All the prisoners were transferred off the island... only that's not what happened. Not at all." – Emerson Hauser
Those are the ominous opening words spoken by actor Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) as Hauser introducing this new series on FOX, Alcatraz.
It's been eight long weeks, but Fox's Fringe is finally back, folks.

"So where was I?" That was how host Ricky Gervais opened Sunday's 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, a nod to the controversy that followed his previous year's hosting gig. His inference: he was going to pick up exactly where he left it last year. He wasn't going to pull any punches. Once again, he was going to raise hell. Well, this time? He didn't.
