Comedian Tommy Tiernan has been a favourite around the world -- a guaranteed hit despite not being a known entity in the capital of entertainment, America. His current tour, dubbed "Out of the Whirlwind", began in Ireland last September, and included 14 straight sold-out dates in Dublin in January.

Simon Rakoff loves his job. Now to be fair, most stand-up comics who are able to make it their career don't take for granted how great a gig it is. But very few veteran comics approach stand-up comedy with the excitement and joy of someone new to the business.

Jon Steinberg's hysterical new album, Between Me and the Wall is endearingly quaint and intimate. It feels less like a stand up special than a nightclub set, but just as entertaining.
My love of movies goes way back. Ever since I was a really little kid, I can remember having a love for movies. My earliest movie memory involves going to see An American Tail in theaters in 1986. That puts me at 4 years old. I remember covering my ears at the loud intense sound from the THX intro and the fire scene on the ship.
