If this was a cheerleading movie, I would sassily assert that Dexter definitely knows how to 'bring it' in their finales.
Deb: "What they're doing takes devotion....He's putting everything on the line to make what happened to her right.
Dexter: "She keeps connecting the dots. Cole, Boyd, now Dr. Dan. It's only a matter of time before she connects them to me. And to Lumen."
Despite Dexter's head start when it comes to the Barrel Girls case, Deb's is playing rapid catch up with her impressive deductive skills and is now only one step behind.
Wow – what an episode! Jordan Chase amps up his creep factor, Lumen finally meets the family and Astor returns to do her best Taylor Momsen impression.
Because of Laguerta's underhanded stunt, Deb is relegated to filing duty. However, whenever Deb hangs out with the sassy filing lady, boy talk and uncovered secrets are in abundance.
Dexter went primal this week and absolutely delivered. It's an electrifying episode effectively broken up with compelling moments of reflection between the characters.
Dexter: "Sometimes partners find us, and as much as we try to push them away, they work their way into our lives, regardless - until we finally realize how much we need them."
If there is one life lesson I learned this week, it is that motivational speakers are shady people.
