"I look like the Flash about to get married."
The two major storylines that have revolved around Howard are his relationship with Bernadette, and him becoming an astronaut. In this episode, once again, these two storylines entwine themselves together, but in an unlikely manner.
"Of all the Howard humping hooker stories, that one's my favourite."
As the men toasted Howard at the stripper free stag party, they made imbeciles of themselves and Howard. The worst of which, was Howard's best friend, Raj. Being drunk, overly emotional, and oblivious to Wil Wheaton filming the toasts, the skeletons came out of the closet.
"Word of caution, I would not do your Stephen Hawking impression in front of him."
Over the years, Sheldon has looked down on both Howard and Penny, for having insufficient education. Howard has always felt like he was getting disrespected, and that his master's degree in engineering was not as worthless as Sheldon had treated it to be.
"And just to clarify... a female wife?"
The inability to speak to women has been a long source of agony for Raj. It took a huge toll on him in the last episode, "The Weekend Vortex," as he expressed his frustration of Sheldon beating him to getting into a relationship before he did.
The Agreement Dissection was split up into four parts, following a storyline that could only happen to Sheldon. The episode started with Sheldon running into Leonard and Priya in the bathroom, which Sheldon reacted later by pulling out the dreaded roommate agreement.
There is a subtle joke that is played out in this episode. The joke not only targeted the characters, but also the viewer. Throughout the episode, there is the assumption that Bernadette was going to break up with Howard. This assumption became the plot, wherein everybody gossiped about.
World of Warcraft is a place on the internet where lots of drama occurs. On the surface, it is just a game, but to Sheldon, it is more than a game. To him, it is his on-line alternate life. In this alternate life, Sheldon has spent a huge amount of time leveling up, and collecting virtual items. It comes as no surprise that Sheldon would react badly when he was hacked.
Sheldon's biggest dilemma with being a genius is his inability to accept the possibility that he does not have the answer to any given question. Worse yet, is when he is out-smarted not only by a magic trick, but also by Penny and the lowly master in engineering.
In Sheldon's mind, he believes that everything he says is perfectly acceptable, because he has deduced that it is right. He perceives himself as relying on his intelligence to be objective, however, his social incompetence makes him out of sync with the rest of the world.
To Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard, Zack was beneath them and worthy of being made fun of. In a strange twist, Zack not only agreed to go with them to the comic book store, but to also join them in their costume contest.
