After a brief recap of last night's performances (which Drew still wins at), Bryan Adams lies to us that he'll be 18 until he dies. Shame about how rough you look for 18, Bryan.
Back after the commercial, he also sings his new song "She's Got a Way." But he doesn't deign to sing with the Idols, because, I mean, he's Bryan Adams. He's a legend! So declares Ben Mulroney.
(However, this does mean we're spared a group medley, so I should stop complaining.)
Further hometown visit footage with the Idols. Collingwood loves Drew. Lethbridge loves Theo. Port Hood loves Mitch. Enlightening.
Down to results. Ben recaps (leave it to the experts, Ben) the judges' comments from the night before, then asks them for some more. Great. Farley blah blah song choice, Jake blah mentors blee, Zack once-in-a-lifetime bloo, Sass *snore*.
The Idol going home is... commercials.
We're back. It's Drew. :(
Drew is pretty, and he is gracious, and he sings himself out very well.
Next week, it's the finale (finally) of this godforsaken television show. I get rather weary by this point each summer.

If Mitch wins the whole thing, I will not watch next year (unless someone I know is on it, of course).

I'm sure they will mourn the loss of your viewership, too. :P
(Not that I am rooting for him. He is not amazing.)
