This could be a tough sell. Many of the things that I love about The Heart She Holler will inevitably be the same things that turn off more conservative viewers from actually watching it. Its virtues will become its faults. One man's comedic treasure is another man's (probably a much older and prudish) trash.
Silly me, I thought this week's episode was the season finale. Alas, next week will be the infamous "Graduation" episode that Gleeks around the world have been waiting for...
Season seven's finale is finally here...and it was not worth the wait.
Following last week's episode, Crowley has been trapped by Richard Roman who is now willing to make a deal with the king of hell.
"But at night, she's a yes machine."
The main plot of the episode was found in the middle of all the events that led up to Alex's tableau vivant presentation. Alex's intention was to impress her teacher enough for him to learn what her name was. All the family had to do was to sit still for ninety seconds.
Another 22 down, 13 left to go, and still a ton of sci-fi mystery to look forward to. Fringe closes out another stellar season of TV with season 4's head scratching finale, "Brave New World: Part 2". Somehow this finale episode oddly ended up being one of Fringe's few predictable episodes of the whole year.
"Aren't you tired of waiting for destiny, Ted?" Isn't it time to make your own destiny?"
The seventh season of How I Met Your Mother concluded with the two-parter, "The Magician's Code." By now, the show should really have provided an answer to how Ted met the mother of his children, but alas, it has not.
What a predictably dull hour of television.
After a brief interview on a talk show and the purchase of a major food additive corporation, Richard Roman has begun to spike the punch by using high fructose corn syrup to spread his sedative across the world.
"Howard and Bernadette. I know you two planned on getting married in a big fancy wedding. But when you're in love, it doesn't matter where or how these things happen.
The hour long drama has entered its golden age in the past decade, giving us some of the best TV since the medium's inception. Landmark shows like Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones take their viewers beyond anything television (and in some cases even cinema... *cough* The Wire) have ever before accomplished.
