Silence. The usual suspects have gathered at the mechanic shop. From beneath a large pile of dirt on the back of a truck -- they drag out the dead boy's dirt bike. They dismantle the bike –taking it apart piece by piece- so that it can be dissolved in acid. Obviously, the boy is also concealed beneath that dirt.
Eleven down and one more to go, True Blood ramps up the stacks in this season's second last episode of the year. As always the series is in typical finale form and every main, minor, and obscure character start crossing paths toward the inevitable bloody conclusion the show is known for.
Being the third last episode of the season "Gone, Gone, Gone" was a surprisingly quite episode. The main stories all progressed throughout, yet the whole thing seemed to play out in slow-mo.
A dirt bike bounces across the desert terrain, uprooting rocks and skidding down dusty hills. Soon, the driver stops the bike and removes his helmet. We see it is a young, innocent boy-- maybe 10 or 11 years old. He spies something on the ground. It's a large tarantula. He bends and picks up the arachnid, letting it crawl over his hands and arms.
"We didn't change history."
"Endtimes" addressed all the loose ends of the series thus far. The power struggle between Travis and Kagame was resolved. The time traveling was explained. Alec and Kagame finally met face to face. Kiera's position with the Vancouver police was somehow confirmed to be legitimate.
Nine episodes in and three to go True Blood already seems to be concluding some of their many multiple storylines.
It's Walter White's birthday! What do you get for the cold-hearted sociopath who has everything (including cancer)? Well, chocolate cake is a good start.
One of Breaking Bad's most unsettling moments takes place in the third episode of season five. Skyler (Anna Gunn) lies in bed. The sounds of nearby gunshots are audible. She goes to the living room, where she finds her husband Walter (Bryan Cranston) and their disabled son Walt Junior (RJ Mitte) laughing gleefully as they watch Brian De Palma's Scarface on TV.
Still coming down from his vampire style ecstasy trip from last week Bill (Stephen Moyer) has to sober up so he can get behind the camera.
"And the only friend I have, I lie to him every day, and I hate it."
This week's episode, "Family Time," managed to absolve Continuum, after last week's disastrous episode.
